Our clients’ technology uses a ground-breaking culmination of photobiology, engineering and data science. Their team of plant scientists, agronomists, engineers and data scientists based in the United States and New Zealand, work every day to maximise the power of UV.
Growth and investment are part of making their recipe of success, and when BioLumic came to us to help put what they do, and need, into a visual representation, we were eager to help. Designing a company profile and pitch for investment to be both engaging and easy to read, whilst promoting the very technology worth investing in was a challenge… one we enjoyed taking up.

FoodHQ is well-connected and respected and provide one–door access to the very best of New Zealand’s food science and innovation, and facilitates a single gateway for clients to access the research and commercialisation expertise of the collaboration partners.

Anél is an International Award Winning Milliner. She has an incredible talent for designing and making beautiful hats. Her woman’s fashion shop “MOOINOOI’ in George Street, Palmerston North is an elegant showcase of Anél’s hats, imported fashion, jewellery, and accessories. Its all about woman feeling fabulous and that’s where her brand tells the story.
We helped Anél put a face to her fashion with flair boutique, bringing her brand to life with a elegant simplistic logo, business card and signage for her beautiful shop.

Bee Healthy Regional Dental Service is the community-based dental service providing support, education, and free (publically-funded) dental care for children in the Greater Wellington Region.
When the team came to us to brand the service, the brief was to connect with children, predominantly aged 5-12, in a fun and friendly way and build a platform by which to educate kids about about oral health and make the business of teeth fun…. so we created BarnaBee! A friendly, lovable little bee and icon for the Bee Healthy Regional Dental Service, perfectly suited to promote the Dental Service’s key messages of prevention, examination & treatment.
Combined with supporting imagery, the Bee Healthy brand was built and applied throughout a number of communications, resource material, multiple clinics and vehicle signage right across the region.

Accounting services are at the core of what they do, but that’s not all that they can do for you, working with new business start-ups to day-to-day accounting services, growth and development advice for established businesses to long term financial planning.
This brand represents all the facets that make up ONLA, in a colourful creative style to suit company values and culture. Growing business, managing accounts, and transforming businesses using a smarter approach and techniques are key messages that make up the ONLA brand overall. Strong brand imagery and strap lines are what sets this visual design system apart from their competition, and connects with clients at a practical friendly level. There is nothing conservative about ONLA Accounting... or this brand!

A joint venture between PNCC, More FM and the Laze and Graze Founders, together they bring food trucks to the square every month during the summer… and what a great brand to be involved in! Its more than just a logo, its the total package of planning, promoting and delivering a community event every fortnight for families to enjoy!
Turn up with the family and friends, graze on some great local food, and laze around in the square watching local entertainment and listening to music. We had a lot of fun with conceptualising and designing this brand name, logo and theme ideas for each night.

The Hilux New Zealand Rural Games is New Zealand’s premier celebration of rural sports. Its a great family weekend of traditional sports, entertainment and heaps of opportunities to get involved.
When the Rural Games were scheduled to come to Palmerston North, we knew The Square would be transformed for a weekend of games and activities, but what developed was an opportunity for The Square to feature artistic signs that are now a permanent design piece within the heart of the city.
Palmerston North has hosted the games 3 years running now, and it’s great to know that our signage keeps the spirit of these games alive all year around.

TAS is a professional services organisation, providing a range of strategic, advisory and programme management services to the health sector. They bring together sector experts with data analysis and health system insights, helping their customers make informed decisions, improve service planning and delivery, and build capability in the health sector through education and training.
Communication and resource materials are a key requirement for TAS, assisting in data reporting, and the delivery of their recommendations, training and educational programmes. The individual business units interRAI and CCDM operate underneath the TAS umbrella, operating with their own distinctive logo and design style that sits within the overall TAS brand.
We worked with TAS initially on their brand refresh and branding template across the organisation, and subsequently on a number of annual reports, online reporting tools, resource books, newsletters, and marketing across the organisation. Here are just a few examples….
Southern District Health Board (Southern DHB) exists to support everyone across the southern district to live well, and access the right care when they need it, by delivering high quality, patient-centred and equitable health services to their diverse communities.
When the Southern District Health Board came to us for our help, they were looking for a updated branding look and feel whilst incorporating their historical logo. Their brief was to refresh the way the SDHB market themselves and communicate to their local community and national audience. We put together a relevant design which promotes the characteristics of the region’s people, attitude and location. The branding system was established and flowed right through the DHBs marketing to freshen up communications across the board. From internal newsletters to national conference banners... we covered it all!

Amayjen is a unique fine dining restaurant in Fielding, both elegant and exciting. The owners Andrew and Jenni May are truly passionate about food and wine, and the dining experience as a whole. Their vision to create and run their own restaurant has become a reality…. and we are privaleged to be a part of putting a face to the vision.
The original name ‘amayjen’ is a clever combination of their own names, and the logo design is a creative use of the ‘plate experience’ - knife, fork and garnish. Andrew and Jenni poor their entire selves into providing great food and dining and this personal logo is a perfect expression of the personal touch you will find at Amayjen!

You'll find the word ‘pride' printed on the Speight's Gold Medal ale label. It is that pride that defines and sets them apart. They are proud to come from a mighty little country that's prepared to take on the rest of the world… and this Southern attitude, and ground level practicality is evident throughout the Speight’s brand. It’s an earthly, textural, strong design brand to work with, scattered with imagery of the brewery’s early founders, deep south origins and hill country landscapes.
We enjoyed helping our local Speight’s advertise their food, drink, and local hospitality…. and they have a great menu!

Envie is all about skin care, makeup and promoting inner healthy and beauty. Founder Melissa Campbell is an experienced make up artist with a wealth of knowledge around transforming the inner you to reflect your beauty on the outside.
When Melissa came to us with the brief to give her own company a facelift, we were excited…. grace and sophistication, with a hint of rosemary to promote health and inner cleansing was our creative challenge, and we love the end result.
BioLumic UV technology uses a ground-breaking culmination of photobiology, engineering and data science. Their technology is world-leading, delivering ultraviolet light to seeds and seedlings to trigger biological mechanisms that increase plant growth, vigour and yields.
BioLumic’s business is going from strength to strength, and it was time for an upgrade to their website, both visually and in content. The website needed to accurately demonstrate their technology and organisation, however the challenge was to specifically represent the company, the unique technology and exciting developments without giving away intellectual property. We think the entire team did a great job on this.
The website is full of colour representing UV and growth, carefully laid out science stories and thoughtful diagrams so that there is clear explanation around all areas BioLumic is across. Imagery is a big part of telling BioLumic’s story and has a priority place within the site.

Medifund is an online platform which assists companies to provide primary health care to employees. Medifund empower employees to seek help from primary healthcare providers sooner, ultimately resulting in a smaller financial burden for employers.
Medifund came to us as a start up needing a brand to help kick start their business development and marketing to insurance providers. The campaign ‘your help, our help’ was created and the logo closely followed. The brand represents support, stability and health aid in synergy, and smiling faces promote their message of support and reassurance.

The JETS are a local basketball team, playing within the Manawatu region and have a strong reputation from previous years playing in the NBL league. Innove design was proud to be a principle sponsor in 2018, assisting the team to have brand present and solicit community support for the boys!
‘The boys are back in town’ - our 2018 campaign to get the community on board, and part of the journey as the local JETS get ready to take off in the competition…. and they did!
Innové supported the team throughout the season providing social media marketing and billboard advertising for all their games, and the basketball was a great watch!
